Integrate your design, manufacturing and inspections seamlessly with Rapid-I. Simply import your original CAD design drawing (in DXF format) into Rapid-I, place your actual manufactured component on Rapid-I, and align the drawing to the component. Alignment is very simple and easy – all you require is one or two reference points which you choose on the drawing and on the component.

Alignment is achieved with a single click of a button. The inspection then reduces to detecting deviations from the ideal drawing. This inspection can be carried out at high resolution (67X), and the deviations quantified immediately with the Digital Micrometer on-screen! Please note that your drawings should be 1:1 prior to importing into Rapid-I. You can even draw your tolerances in different colours and these will be rendered in the same colors on the video.

Another important aspect of Rapid-I is the ability to export your work as a CAD drawing (again as a DXF file). Simply click on Export, and give a file name to export. You can use any of the entity tools or the graphical tools to be exported. The exported drawing will be 1:1 (also see Reverse Engineering).
